2010/2010A - DOPPLER STETHOSCOPES
The 2010 is a stand-alone probe designed for use with any high gain amplifier such as the 1059 (preferred), 4020, 2047U/C, etc. The 2010A contains a built in audio amplifier which can directly drive a headset.
These units generate a small amount of radio energy which penetrates any soft sided package such as an attache case, suitcase, wooden or cardboard box, etc., and returns with a signal which indicates movement within the package. This would include many types of watch mechanisms, mechanical timers, radio control escapements and tape recorder motors, to name a few.
A switchable high and low pass filter enhances probe performance. Both units are supplied with instructions and carrying case. The 2010A is also supplied with a special 32 ohm headset. The 2010 and 2010A are powered by six "AA" (1 1/2 volt) batteries (Alkaline always preferred).
